Round 1: Technical & Domain Knowledge

They focused heavily on B.Com syllabus concepts. The interviewer asked detailed questions about finalization of accounts, GST return filings, and Tally ERP shortcuts.

  • What is the difference between Provision and Reserve?
  • How do you pass an entry for advance tax paid?
  • Questions on Royalty accounts and depreciation methods.

I fumbled on the GST questions, which I think was the reason I didn't make it to the next round. My advice: Brush up on current taxation laws!
